We want your child to learn, grow and develop their character so they are prepared for life after Esh Winning.

We aim to support the children of Esh Winning in acquiring and developing the knowledge and skills that will support them in future learning and employment. Through a well-planned curriculum, to a range of before and after school activities, we want to bring their learning to life with inspirational lessons, class trips and visitors in school.

To ensure we are giving them the knowledge and cultural capital to succeed in life, we offer a ‘no ceiling’ curriculum which prepares them for the next steps, one which prepares them for life in modern Britain by equipping them with the character to be responsible and respectful and contribute towards society positively whilst understanding fundamental British Values.

Personal Development in school is made up of several strands and does not involve one person or one subject but a collaborative approach. We want to support and allow our children to discover their own talents, interests and hobbies. Show an understanding and appreciation for diversity by celebrating difference, understanding that respect should be given for everyone’s individual protected characteristics. Ultimately, we want to develop their character, resilience and independence so they can become active citizens of society.
