Our School Uniform

We expect all children to wear school uniform. We feel that our school uniform encourages a sense of pride and belonging and promotes a positive and unified image of the school. We ask parents to support us in ensuring their children wear our uniform.

Children take pride in wearing our gender neutral uniform, which is as follows:

• School sweatshirt or cardigan available (emerald)
• Gold polo shirt
• Black or grey skirt or trousers
• Black school shoes

For Summer

• Green and white or yellow and white striped or checked dress
• School polo shirt as above

Sweatshirts, cardigans, PE t shirts and reversible waterproof coats can be purchased directly from Tots to Teams Limited in Newcastle. Please go to website www.totstoteams.com

Items can also be purchased from supermarkets. The logo is not essential on sweatshirts and cardigans.

The school office has a supply of school reading bags and PE bags.

Please do not send children into school wearing unsuitable clothing or shoes. The Headteacher has the right to prohibit the wearing of certain types of clothing/items which are considered, on safety or other grounds, to be unsuitable for wear in school.

We are fortunate that many of our parents donate good pre-loved school uniform which we sell to parents.

School also has a supply of donated pre-loved uniform available to parents free of charge, please contact the office for more information.

In the interest of health and safety, we operate a no jewellery policy. If ears are to be pierced, please arrange to have this carried out during the six weeks holiday to allow the wounds to heal. Earrings must not be worn in school. A standard wrist watch may be worn, ‘smart’ watches are not allowed.

Physical Education Kit
It is essential that children change for PE. Our PE kit is black shorts, a green t-shirt and a pair of slip-on plimsolls or trainers. The school has a PE t-shirt, with or without the school logo, to purchase as part of the school uniform. Please contact the school office for further details.

We are delighted to announce that we have negotiated a fantastic price reduction with our Uniform Suppliers, Tots to Teams in Newcastle.

Orders over £45 will receive free home delivery or orders can be delivered free of charge to the school office for collection. Orders are normally dispatched within 4 weeks during the busy summer months and 2 weeks at other times of the year.

The school office will no longer be selling uniform once we have sold our small remaining stock. We will have one size in every item for parents to look at for size comparisons.

Book bags will still need to be ordered via the school office and paid for on the ParentPay site. An order form for book bags is available by clicking here.
