School Office

Our School Office opens at 8.00am and closes at 4.30pm term time only. Our Office Manager, Mrs Lamb and our Administration Assistant, Mrs Curtis are here to help you. The School Office contact details can be found on the Contact Us page of our website. A free paper copy (or in any other format) of the information on our website is available upon request from the school office.

First Day Response

We ask that parents contact school on the first day their child is absent. If we have not received a reason for absence by 9.30am, our Office Staff will make contact with you.

Signing in/Signing out

If your child arrives late to school, they must be signed in at the School Office. If your child needs to leave throughout the school day e.g. a medical appointment, they must be signed out.

Medicines in School

If your child has been prescribed medicine from the Doctor, 4 times per day, this can be administered at school. This should be brought into school by the parent and given to the School Office staff. A form must be completed before the medicine can be given to your child.

If you have any medical concerns about your child which you think the school needs to be aware, please inform our Office Staff.

Leave of Absence

Authorised leave of absence will be granted for the following only:

· Wedding of a parent

· Funeral of a close relative

· National sporting activity

Any other request which does not fall into one of the above category’s will be unauthorised.

An application for leave of absence must be made in advance on the appropriate form (available from the school office or from the school website in the section marked “Parents”). A leave of absence is granted entirely at the headteacher’s discretion.

Wrap Around Care

If your child is enrolled in our Nursery and you wish to use our Wrap Around Care, please enquire at the School Office.
