General Information

In year 3, we follow a broad and balanced curriculum where every child can flourish and succeed.

We have PE every Monday and Friday. If your child could keep their PE kit in school throughout the week, this will really help us.

We encourage children to read each and every day, therefore, children are asked to bring their home reading books and signed reading records into school daily.

Ways that you can support your child’s learning:

Listen to your child read regularly.

Complete weekly activities set on Seesaw

We enjoy reading a range of fiction and non-fiction books to support our English learning.

Maths

We follow the White Rose Maths long term plan to support our Maths learning, where children use the CPA Approach (Concrete – Pictorial – Abstract). This is supplemented by the use of Times Tables Rockstars.
