Year 5 Team
General Information
In Year 5 we follow a broad and balanced curriculum where every child can flourish and succeed.
Year 5 have PE on Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons.
Children will be taught the violin by a music specialist from Durham Music Service.
We encourage children to read each and every day, therefore, children are asked to bring their home reading books and signed reading records into school daily. TTRS Sessions are set every week as part of the children’s home learning. Children will also be given spellings to learn in preparation for a weekly spelling review. Children will be given home learning each week and this will consolidate any previous learning they have done in school.
